A fabulous race?
Don't take our word for it, these are a few moments form the 2016 competitors::
I personally thought it was fab, bit tough at the start waiting in line for getting over the fences, but really was fab!! Was a bit of a mission gettin to the train station after though it was 2 n a half miles!! So we got another beer.... Haha 😀 fab event guys defo see you next year an maybe I'll even beat the barge 😂 Kim McGrath It was a fab event. The narrow paths in the first km meant that passing those who were walking was difficult, but I'll know better for next year. Serves me right for being the last across the start line, thinking I was going to have a fun-run I guess. Robert Gudgeon |
I was one of the 6 who went the wrong way early doors. I love the event though. Absolutely gorgeous scenery and the beer and food very welcome. Will do the 2 lapper next year. Paul Ebrey Since I started running 2 yrs ago this race has been on my list! It didn't disappoint!!! I had an awesome day! Hard but great run, thanks team OA xx here I am finishing 19 miles lol Angela Buckley Thanks for today from Tameside huskies, we all enjoyed it, was very well sign posted and already looking forward to next year 😀 this is our mini gang, some are on holiday so couldn't come! Fantastic events for my first trail run, but yes I agree about the start waiting in line having to wait/ walk whilst I wanting to run but not being able to take over difficult time get going after, defintely going to aim to do more than one next year! Emily Schofield |
